In the cartoon adaptations of Moomins, Snufkin is usually depicted as so mature and cool and calm and stuff, and I like to imagine that it doesn't stay that way as he gets older. Like he's that way in the shows and stuff but later down the road he gets sillier and more childish. He's like all cool and dark as a teenager saying all this philosophical stuff, and as a grown man he's just a funny little guy rolling around in the dirt licking moss and he sticks his tongue out and goes blehhhhh :P

I don't know, it's just so funny to me that 265 ended pretty much like Yuji telling Sukuna "Aye, man, just give back Fushiguro and you can live. I can kill you, don't want to, but I can." (Mind you, he offers this to Sukuna again after saving Megumi.)

And Sukuna in turn is just "NOT IF I KILL YOU AND EVERYONE ELSE FIRST!"

(What makes this funny to me is all of this is being done while Sukuna is wearing a school uniform.)

While I do think there’s a kind of tragedy if Mihawk was Rayleigh’s bio child

But I do think it’d be funny if he just had a very Damien Wayne attitude about the whole thing with Shanks and buggy.

Can you imagine a 4 year old Mihawk staring with complete disdain into the treasure chest the Roger Pirates just stole, containing sweet little baby Shanks on HIS birthday!

He’d immediately ask for a refund and probably suggest they throw the chest into the sea if they can’t go back to God Valley for an exchange. He refuses to even entertain the idea that they might actually keep the baby

ep 5🧟 thoughts when you’re ready love

hiiiiiii here we are! (it's...a lot of words this time lmao apologies in advance)

probably my favorite episode until next week comes along lol

i wish (as i have with every episode and with the season as a whole) that it was longer, but i loved everything we got in that 45 minutes. i was on the edge of my seat the whole episode, i loved the way ellie and dina and jesse entangled with the wlf and the seraphites and the little slices we get to see of just how fucked seattle is

isabela merced continues to just blow me away. the scene with her telling ellie about the first person she ever killed? chef's kiss, give the girl her emmy right MEOW.

at the beginning of the episode i still thought ellie was a little too bouncy, a little too...idk, enjoying herself? having a good time out on her revenge quest that she actually doesn't seem all that invested in at the moment? and i loved the way we saw that peel away from the moment they end up in that warehouse, and especially when you see her catch sight of the hospital. i don't necessarily want show ellie to be as rage-driven as game ellie but i feel like there is a balance the writers missed, they skewed too far to the other side of making her mellowed out until the very end.

the bit with her and nora? absolute fucking chills. the delivery of her i don't care and i know was just batshit, like it so well echoes joel in s1e8 when he's torturing david's men. he skewed a little more manic, and ellie had a freakish - alarming - sort of calm to her as she goes after nora with the pipe. actually very similar to abby in s2e2 now that i'm typing it out.

love the intro of spores, can't wait to see how that plays out going forward.

ellie in the theater with the guitar was a full on gut punch and the SINGING OF THE OPENING OF FUTURE DAYS???? I WAS UNWELL I AM UNWELL STILL. that's the shit i need more of, ellie in those reflective moments, bella does those so incredibly well

was hootin and hollerin when jesse showed up on my screen, and the palpable anger from him was phenomenal. i love how they made it seem for ellie like it could be joel (although i do think that to make that hit stronger for the viewer they could have warped jesse's voice to sound like joel's for a moment) and now i just am waiting for tommy to get there too (i know he's there in seattle but i mean like...on my screen). wanna see that man snipe some people!

no actually joel opening the door and saying hey kiddo and their little affectionate greetings they looked so happy to see each other i CANNOT i am so afraid of next week's episode and if you still wanna ask me my thoughts next week after i just unloaded all this for ep 5, you can expect another massive wall of rambling text so keep that in mind lmao
